The Center for Global Education

The Center for Global Education offers social justice based study abraod programs in Central America, Mexico and Southern Africa. Programs are focused on engagement with local people, with a particular emphaisis placed on hearing from voices that are traditionally underrepresented and marginalized. The Center also offers short-term international travel seminars for faculty, teachers, professionals, non-profit organizations, community leaders, activisits and the general public. The mission of the Center for Global Education at Augsburg College is to provide cross-cultural educational opportunities in order to foster critical analysis of local and global conditions so that personal and systemic change takes place leading to a more just and sustainable world.
