4 A Greener Game

The Cardinals are looking for friendly volunteers from local colleges, community organizations, church groups, families or individuals to join the "For a Greener Game" initiative and help collect recyclable materials from fans throughout each game at Busch Stadium.

The Ice Mountain Green Team is a group of volunteers who walk down the aisles in the seating bowl every half inning to collect recyclable items from fans and promote recycling in the stadium. Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before game time for a brief training session. Recycling collection begins around the 2nd inning and continues throughout the game until 15 minutes afterwards to help pick up leftover recyclables. In exchange for your services you get to enjoy watching the game as collections are done only in-between innings and pitching changes. In addition, volunteers will receive a special gift from Ice Mountain.
