The mission of Bridging the Gap is to educate and inspire at-risk youth to make better decisions for themselves and ultimately attain a more promising future.

The Salvation Army is looking for a part-time support staff for its Bridging the Gap program in Worcester. Candidate will be responsible for assisting Bridging the Gap director and Assistant with supervision of youth during program times and all other BTG events. Bridging the Gap is a 12 weeks life skills course for at-risk youth ages 12-18. Candidates must have a passion for working with youth and be self motivated and responsible.Qualifications: Must have Excellent communication skills, ability to make good judgment calls, works well with others, minimum of one year; experience with supervising and mentoring teenagers, and must have good and clear boundaries with youth in accordance with the Bridging the Gap protecting the mission guidelines. High School Diploma or GED required Associates degree in Social work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field preferred, valid Mass. Driving license preferred.The hours would be 3-7 from Monday through Friday. Please reply with resume.
