Description

The Tennessee Literacy Coalition is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency established in 1982 to serve as a statewide organizational leader in creating a fully literate Tennessee. A membership organization, the Coalition serves as an advocate for adult Tennesseans who have limited literacy skills; brokers adult literacy information and resources to providers, learners, volunteers and businesses; and serves as a literacy advisor to local and state legislators, business, and professional organizations. Coalition programs support literacy provider agencies and adult learners across the state.
