Innovation Fellows are big thinkers interested in international development and the challenges facing some of the world’s poorest countries. The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Arizona State University (ASU) and the New America Foundation (NAF) invite applicants with technical expertise in social and physical sciences, supply chain or other business management, medicine, engineering and other relevant disciplines to apply to the Innovation Fellowship. Fellows will be placed throughout MCC operations to advance the application of science, technology and related expertise in international development and the foreign affairs activities of the U.S. Government.

Millennium Challenge Corporation

On January 23, 2004, the U.S. Congress established the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). MCC, a U.S. Government Corporation, is based on the principle that aid is most effective in countries that promote good governance, economic freedom, and investments in people.

MCC provides these well-performing countries with large-scale grants to fund country-led solutions for reducing poverty through sustainable economic growth.

Countries self-identify their own challenges to overcoming poverty and design their own development strategies with the objectives of creating growth opportunities, opening markets, raising the standard of living, and creating a more prosperous future for some of the world’s poorest people, accordingly improving global prosperity and security.
