Coordination SUD

Coordination SUD includes more than 100 French NGOs. These associations conduct emergency missions and support development projects. Coordination SUD supports initiatives from the private French sector concerning developing countries, and encourages cooperation between societies, independent of governments. In France, it also maintains links with various ministries, notably within dialogue organs. Coordination SUD studies the evolution of public cooperation policies as well as reforms that affect these issues. At the European level, the French Platform, within the European Network of the Liaison Committee, and in close link with Coordination SUD, aims to implement lobby and advocacy actions towards the European Institutions, and tries in this way to influence the European policies on development issues.
