Use scientific methods to build an open computer service to predict consequences of public and private choices for peace and conflict resolution, environment, sustainable development, and justice. Predictive service will: 1) represent interconnectedness among many aspects of human society, technology, and nonhuman environment; 2) learn from past experience in a systematic way; 3) represent Earth system dynamics (changes over time), not just the system as is. Initial objective is a demonstration global model, on-line, giving short-term (near future) prediction using a combination of techniques within a framework of genetic programming.
