One of the most distinguishing characteristics of the School of Public Policy and Administration is the integration of academic excellence and professional experience. Students learn about the latest theories related to their field, and contribute in making a real difference by applying those theories to real-world problems that improve the community, the state, the region and the world.

For over 50 years, the School of Public Policy and Administration continues its tradition of linking academic excellence with professional experience, allowing students extensive opportunities to participate in internships and applied research projects. Students work closely with faculty and staff on research projects. Instructors are readily available and easily accessible to provide assistance and advice.
