The Institute for Community Leadership

Mission Statement: The Mission of the Institute for Community Leadership is to empower individuals and organizations to create a vision of a more just nation and world and to develop and sustain within themselves the strength, hope, leadership, relationships and individual and organizational integrity to bring about that vision.

The Institute for Community Leadership presents a nonviolence, social justice and poetry based curriculum in public schools across the country. Through this work, ICL organizes students, parents and communities to create peace and strengthen democracy.
