eCauses is a nonprofit organization, which focus on nonprofit technology.
It mainly operates an online non-profit technology community now, including www.ecuases.org, groups in www.douban.com and www.yeeyan.org.
eCauses website(www.ecauses.org) launched in October 25, 2009.
eCauses maily translated engilish articles about nonprofit technology into chinese.
The goals of eCauses:
First, help non-profit organizations to use Internet to increase their impact and achieve social change.
Second, encourage IT technologist to offer professional volunteer services.
Third, promote IT&Internet companies carry out innovative CSR projects

eCauses is an NTEN organizational member.
eCauses has translated 200 passages about nonprofit technology.
20 volunteers have attended eCauses social translation activity.
eCauses has translated Working with Technical Volunteers: A Manual forNPOs, published by Techsoup, into Simplified Chinese.
eCauses has established good relationships or contacts with NPOs/NGOs and IT&Internet companies,including Greenpeace China, WWF China, Cisco China, Intel China, One Foundation and so on. Besides, eCauses has established good relationships with Techsoup local partners in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
