At mPoweredHealth we’re changing the narrative. Health consumers deserve better, cheaper care. Health information is no longer locked in dungeonous medical libraries. It can be accessed, analyzed and used by people like you and me. But for health information to be used safely by the public, we need to make sure reliable health data is available to consumers and their doctors. We need to improve patient literacy and ensure that people know how to discriminate between reputable and disreputable sources of health information. We need to ensure that laws are in place that permit new health technology to be made. And sometimes we need to make sure that products that were once available only to health professionals can be targeted to consumers directly. mPoweredHealth will teach the public to be more informed health consumers. mPoweredHealth will also advocate for more patient-centered health policies.
