National Housing Endowment

  • About Us

The National Housing Endowment, the philanthropic arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), addresses ongoing needs in the housing community by focusing on education, training and research, and by perptuating the contribution home builders make to the American way of life.

The Endowment identifies future housing industry needs and invests in measures which improve housing cost-reduction and overall quality, which produce skilled laborers and talented managers, and which elevate housing to an enduring national priority.

Since its founding in 1987, the Endowment has raised more than $22 million in permanent funds and an additional $10 million on behalf of NAHB for disaster relief in response to 9/11, the 2004 tsunami in southern Asia and Hurricane Katrina.
