We provide emergency assistance for the families and the children entering state run foster care systems. Our time and energy is devoted to the reunification of foster children with their siblings and biological parents. We also provide the necessary support to the biological parents aimed at taking care of the children's needs. Through our knowledge with the state's family court bureaucratic requirements, we support biological parents with legal aid research and practical solutions. Our goal is the mending of broken families with the best outcome being a strong healthy family on which children can rely and flourish. We believe that a child's situation is rarely improved through coercive state intervention, especially when intervention takes the form of removal from the parental home. We believe that unless parents are physically abusive and are drug addicts or sexually abusive, removing children from their biological parents should be an absolute last resort.
