About Us

Established in 2007, Aziza’s Place is a learning and development center for underprivileged children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The children come from local communities and vulnerable families that have been marginalized from wider society. Our ultimate goal is poverty alleviation for the children and their families. We provide the children with access to education and developmental programs. We support the families and communities via social services, setting them on a path to self-sufficiency.

Aziza’s Place provides a wide range of holistic programs and services that directly impact over 40 children and indirectly impact 300 people, including the families and the communities we serve.

AP also provides support to the children’s families and our social workers support and work in the communities to ensure a sufficiently safe and stable environment exists for their children. We hope these efforts will ultimately lead to the families’ financial stability and independence.

Paramount to AP’s vision is respect for children’s rights which is implemented by a strict child protection policy in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Our approach evolves as international research points to new ideas and better practices.
