Description

Concerned Black Men National (CBM) has been providing youth development services to children and families from disadvantaged communities for over 35 years. Through the work of a nationwide network of chapters located in 33 U.S. cities, and in Pretoria, South Africa, and an experienced and credentialed staff located in our National Office in Washington, DC, CBM conducts evidence based programs and "best practice" projects to support youth and strengthen their families. CBM conducts youth mentoring, teen pregnancy, violence prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention, substance abuse prevention programs as well as fatherhood initiatives. We also tutor youths with behavioral problems, and help low income parents become literate and develop job skills. Our national level programs have rigorous evaluation components that monitor and assess our progress and effectiveness. To learn more about CBM, please visit our website at www.cbmnational.org
