Friends of the Arava Institute

The Friends of the Arava Institute (FAI) is the fundraising arm of the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, the premier environmental teaching and research program in the Middle East whose mission is to prepare future Arab and Jewish leaders to cooperatively solve the region's environmental challenges. Its unique undergraduate and graduate educational experience brings together students from across the region and around the world.

FAI's goal is to ensure the Institute's continued success and growth through effective fundraising and public awareness campaigns. As a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Friends provides funding for the operational and educational expenses of the Arava Institute.
