Global Pulse is a United Nations initiative to close the information gap between the onset of a global crisis and the availability of actionable information to protect vulnerable populations. Global Pulse will harness the analytical resources and expertise of the UN and its partners to provide high quality, actionable information for the global community. Quick and accurate information on how the world's most vulnerable populations are faring in times of far-reaching global crises is essential to allow the international community address their plight in a more effective and timely fashion.
