Democracy 21

Democracy 21 is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works to strengthen our democracy, ensure the integrity and fairness of our government decisions and elections, and curb the undue influence of big money in American politics. The organization promotes campaign finance reform, ethics and lobbying reform and other government integrity reforms to accomplish these goals.

Its current priorities include passing legislation to require comprehensive disclosure of corporate and labor union expenditures that are made to influence federal elections; developing legislation to fundamentally reform the financing of presidential and congressional elections; and defending the constitutionality of campaign finance laws in the Supreme Court and the lower courts.
