Generation Rwanda is working to reinvent higher education in the developing world. This September, we're launching a university in Rwanda called Kepler that delivers online courses from the world's best universities paired with rigorous in-person instruction: a model for low-cost, high-quality education that can be replicated across the developing world.

For nearly a decade, Generation Rwanda has operated one of the highest performing education programs in Africa. The model is simple, but effective: we recruit Rwanda's brightest students that cannot afford university, fund their education, and train them to become leaders in Africa's emerging information economy. Though we currently operate exclusively in Rwanda, our larger goal is to provide unmistakable evidence to developing nations of the social and economic value of identifying and cultivating talented students from marginalized backgrounds.
