Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County

Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS) is one of Los Angeles County's leading public interest law offices and has been the primary legal aid program serving the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys for more than 35 years. In 2001 NLS expanded its service area to Pasadena and the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. The program expects to have three offices and a total staff approaching 100 in early 2003. NLS provides legal assistance to low-income individuals, families and groups in the areas of family law and domestic violence, housing, health care, education, public benefits, economic and job development, immigrant rights, consumer rights, and environmental justice.
