Description

MDA is a voluntary health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquiring over 40 neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. MDA combats neuromuscular disease through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive local serivces, and far-reaching professional and public health education. MDA is the first non-profit organization honored with the American Medical Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for "significant and lasting contributions to the health and welfare of humanity".
