GOAL'S MISSION STATEMENT:

To work towards ensuring that the poorest of the poor and most vulnerable in our world and/or affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental needs and rights of life, for example, food, water, shelter, medical attention and literacy.

GOAL ETHOS

From its inception, GOAL's aim has been only to work with the poorest of the poor and all our objectives are directed towards achieving that end.

We have an enviable reputation as a 'no frills' agency that gets the job done in a cost effective and efficient manner, whilst maintaining administration costs consistently at less than 5% per annum.

GOAL recognizes there are many things that can be done to improve the lot of impoverished people, but it is our belief that we should concentrate exclusively on those at the very bottom of the socio-economic ladder – and we do that by providing them with the very basics of life – food, shelter, medical care, housing and education.
