Description

The Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) is a nationally recognized leader in community development finance. Founded in 1984, LIIF invests in projects that support healthy communities and families by providing a bridge between capital markets and low income neighborhoods. LIIF supports the development of affordable housing, schools, child care centers, transit-oriented development, greener buildings and healthy food stores to promote economic advancement and improve life outcomes for the very poor. Over its history, LIIF has invested $1 billion in projects that have revitalized highly distressed neighborhoods and supported over 970,000 people. LIIF has offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City and Washington, D.C.
