The Heroic Imagination Project (HIP) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase acts of everyday heroism as the necessary antidote to inaction, inhumanity and corruption, across every age group, every facet of society, and in every country.

The goal of HIP is to realize Dr. Philip Zimbardo's vision to create an organization which, through evidence-based education programs and results-driven public outreach, publishing, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships, engages and excites people to improve their world by becoming everyday heroes. Drawing from its ground-breaking research, HIP is committed to applying the most effective, enlightening, rewarding, and fun means to accomplish its goals.
