The MMCC has been providing programs and services to the North Bronx since 1944.
Our programs serve newborns through the elderly, under the guidance of warm and caring professional staff.
In a city torn apart by racism, anti-Semitism, ethnic isolation, drugs, poverty, poor health and educational services, our community, regardless of religion, race or ethnicity to come together in a spirit of friendship, to work together to pursue common goals and interests. We are here to help make our neighborhoods a better place to live for everyone. We are open to all.
We are a human service agency, which receives a major part of our funding from the UJA Federation of Jewish Philanthropies. We have very strong roots to the Jewish community of the North Bronx and offer Jewish members the opportunity to learn about their culture, history and holiday traditions.
We also stress religious, racial, ethnic and cultural respect for all groups who use the Community Center.
