Codestarter

At Codestarter we focus on getting laptops into the hands and homes of kids who want to learn to code, but who can’t afford their own hardware. To do this, we partner with organizations that teach programming. These programs are instrumental for developing the next generation of thinkers and builders, but their classes only scratch the surface and create exposure to coding. Giving a child ownership of her own laptop emboldens her to immerse herself in learning. Our mission at Codestarter goes beyond providing laptops and enabling kids to learn how code. This is about long-term change for underserved children and for the tech industry that they may enter later.
