Description

Ballot Initiative Strategy Center is the progressive "think and do tank" for ballot measure research and strategic campaign support. We are a resource for grassroots advocates seeking to advance progressive policies and values. BISC provides critical support to initiative campaigns, including technical support, funding research, initiative tracking, campaign training and strategic advice through briefings, national conference calls, and one-on-one assistance. Tapped as 2009's "Most Valuable Think Tank" by Nation magazine, BISC uses the initiative process as a tool for achieving progressive policy goals and building broad political power in the states.
