Description

Mission: BEST Kids works to promote better futures for youth in DC's child welfare system by developing and supporting mentoring relationships with caring, consistent adult mentors. BEST Kids focuses on one-on-one mentoring relationships motivated by a genuine desire to improve the lives of the children that volunteers are matched with.

BEST Kids initiated and is currently a grantee of the District of Columbia's Child and Family Service Agency's Volunteer Mentor Partnership. CFSA refers male and female youth, aged 6 to 11, from the foster care system, to be matched with BEST Kids' Mentors.

BEST Kids Requires a 1 year commitment to mentoring a child, as well as 10 hours a month of volunteer mentoring.
