Description

Health care is the top domestic issue facing us today, and the issue is receiving more attention from policy makers and the public than ever before. Since its beginning in 1989, the Illinois Campaign for Better Health Care (CBHC) has been a leader in addressing the health care crisis and advancing comprehensive reform at the state level.

CBHC is the largest health care advocacy coalition in Illinois working for quality, affordable health care for all in our state. CBHC's membership is statewide and consists of a broad and diverse array of individuals and organizations. These include consumers, advocacy groups, providers, faith communities, labor and businesses. CBHC brings these interests together in educating the public about the health care crisis, mobilizing grassroots support for reform, analyzing legislation and developing advocacy leaders.
