About us

The LA River Revitalization Corp. (LARRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established by the LA City Council and the Mayor's office to implement a visionary plan to revitalize the river. The master plan for the LA River is at the heart of our vision to transform Los Angeles into a cleaner, greener, more accessible, more prosperous community. We are a new social-enterprise nonprofit that is helping to make this vision a reality.

The LARRC bridges the public and private sectors to transform the LA River corridor into an attractive destination and transformative economic zone. The 51-mile river is a great untapped resource that can connect and revitalize our neighborhoods, create multiple spaces for recreation and art, improve our green space and natural environment, support a more integrated and sustainable water system and attract investment to boost the local economy.
