The Trinity Yard organization was established in July of 2007 after formal recognition from the state of Vermont as a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization. We serve the youth of Cape Three Points, Ghana, and the surrounding communities – rural areas where access to further educational opportunities beyond junior high school is limited. Often, the lack of government-run secondary schooling prematurely pushes students off the academic track and limits their growth potential. Our program aims to bridge this gap by providing a fee-free secondary education option with a primary focus on English, Math, and a variety of vocational workshops. Upon completion of the academic component we assist in the funding and placement of our graduating students in apprenticeship programs of their choice. Along the way we aim to enrich the lives of not only our students, but also those of our Ghanaian staff and volunteers from abroad who take part in the school's development.
