Discovery Science Center is dedicated to educating young minds, assisting teachers and increasing public understanding and appreciation of science, math and technology though interactive exhibits and programs.
Discovery Science Center volunteers are dedicated to welcoming and hosting guests and fostering the mission and goals of DSC.
Volunteers take on a wide variety of roles, ranging from teaching science on the exhibit floor, interacting with guests, and helping out with all of our back office needs. The Volunteer Department works closely with each volunteer to help them find the best possible volunteer opportunity.
All Discovery Science Center volunteers must be at least 15 years old or in their Sophomore year of high school and are required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of service.
