AFS Intercultural Programs - Grand Canyon Area Team

AFS is a non-profit international exchange organization for high school students. AFS works toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership. AFS believes that now, more than ever, the world needs the trust and understanding that come from intercultural experiences.

From the depths of the Grand Canyon and the snow-capped peaks of Flagstaff in the north, to the vast Sonoran Desert of Tucson and Phoenix in the south - we are the Grand Canyon Team. Our diverse network of volunteers, host families, and staff, as well as current and former AFSers, are located in Metro-Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff.

The Grand Canyon Area Team is always looking for volunteers who are passionate about everything international and multicultural. AFS is an organization for people who believe in the power of cultural understanding as a foundation for achieving a more just and peaceful world.
