Savantas Liberal Arts Academy (SLAA) is the education arm of the Savantas Policy Institute, a think tank that specializes in policies supporting Hong Kong's transformation into a knowledge-based economy. SLAA hosts seminars and provides short-term courses throughout the year on subjects ranging from philosophy and Chinese classics to technology and the creative industry. It is a registered school and is funded by government subsidy (through the Quality Education Fund) and donations from the public. It has been a member school of UNESCO Hong Kong since 2011.
