Description

The NFFR was founded in 1951 to address the medical and emotional plight of those with facial difference by assuring them access to the comprehensive and highly personalized team care at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. For 61 years, the NFFR has supported state-of-the-art patient care, research to discover less invasive procedures, and education to create a future cadre of physicians dedicated to reconstructive plastic surgery. It is NFFR's support, together with the donated surgical time and services of its doctors for our many families that live at or below the poverty level that has allowed over 61,000 patients to enjoy more integrated and satisfying lives.
