About us

The Fondation Josué Pierre-Paul, better known now from its program called Katapausis, was created in August 2009 by Christian leader Josué Pierre-Paul, to contribute to a better living for Haitians.

Hurt by the January 2010 earthquake, we used to focus on Jacmel, giving food, clothes and organizing psychosocial activities. We invested there to create businesses and support those in need.

In 2015, we created the Katapausis Group, one of the most powerful programs in Haiti, which offers social and economic opportunities to young adults.
