Millennium Promise's vision is the eradication of extreme poverty by 2015. Its unique focus is the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals—the world's time-bound objectives for tackling extreme poverty.

Millennium Promise will work in partnership with leading companies, local and national governments, non-governmental organizations, philanthropies, and millions of interested citizens, to unite efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals in the world's poorest countries.

To accelerate the effort to end extreme poverty Millennium Promise will harness the most advanced scientific approach to fight against poverty and some of the most dynamic minds of our generation.
