Kind Mankind is a platform for independent changemakers, formerly known as volunteers.
It was created in March 2011 by Kamiel Verwer and Yeon Choi, building upon their experience with Charity Travel
Kind Mankind will always be free, non-profit and open source.
Through the network, independent volunteers can more easily connect with the absolute grassroots and help out where it is most needed. This will benefit a large number of struggling grassroots projects and the communities they support.
We are connecting excellence on a global scale and would appreciate your support.
Donations will be used to hire local staff to audit the initiatives we are listing. Betterplace donations will not be used to sustain the makers (but this is possible directly through the website)
