Description

Dancewave is a non-profit, interdisciplinary arts and education provider.Our guiding vision employs dance as a lens to view, appreciate,and understand other creative disciplines. We believe that the universal character of dance provides a forum for meaningful, positve interchange between people of all ages, personal backgrounds,and cultural orientations. Our programs include D-Wave in Motion,an arts-in-education program, Kids Company pre-professional performing dance troupes, the annual Kids Cafe Festival, the Summer Dance Intensive for Teens, and Dancewave AfterSchool .We recognize that the rigor and interactive nature of dance helps young people to learn values of co-operation, communication,focus,responsibility, and commitment.
