About Us

  • "To facilitate interfaith cooperation and other partnerships to alleviate the causes of violence, suffering and hate while advancing peace, justice and human dignity."  This is accomplished by delivering services to the Greater Danbury Community through six distinct programs:
  • Domestic Violence Prevention Program for men and women who have been involved in an act of domestic violence
  • Dream Homes Community Center - housing services and advocacy for individuals who are either homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless (within 14 days)
  • Emergency Aid Network - to provide small one time grant to help provide basic needs to families and individuals
  • Resettlement Assistance - to assist immigrants and refugees who are in the early stages of the resettlement process
  • K.I.D.S. - mentoring program for Kindergartners in Danbury Title 1 schools
  • Meeting House - Interfaith Peace Camp:  one week camp for primarily inner city children to build bridges of understanding of other religions and Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
