Now that you met us, you can get to be our partner.Our Association is an Italian NGO, acknowledged by Italian "Ministry of Foreign Affairs", founded in February 1997.Itaca's goal is to contrast, through protection of needy children in Italia and projects in Developing Countries, all forms of poverty and social exclusion, always in respect of local identities and bringing out the value of one's inclinations, culture and local possibilities and talents, which are the main resources of the local development.We make projects aimed to social and economical growth and based on an integrated model of intervention, aimed to the involvement of local communities on the "productive supportive community". Our main intervention sectors are: farming, zootechnics, food security, promoting of enterprise and self-employment, fighting against trafficking in human beings and protection of children's rights.Actually we manage project in the following areas: Brazil, Romania, Moldova Republic and Albania.
