Integrated Rural Community Center for Agriculture is an agricultural non profit (NGO) in Cameroon fighting to improve the living standards of the rural population through the practice of sustainable agriculture, agricultural diversification and the pursuit of relevant community developmental activities such as providing capital and capacity building (on plan)to farmers in an effort to improve access to inputs and equipment. We also seek institutional linkages with other stakeholders in the agricultural domain in order to build a sustainable foundation for proper growth as well as integration into the global community. Below is a nutshell summary of our mission statement.
Integrated Rural Community Centre for Agriculture is an autonomous non profit organisation fighting to alleviate poverty in Cameroon through the development and adoption of sustainable and appropriate technologies, practices and diversification in rural agriculture. We encourage empowerment through knowledge and seek to develop literacy and educational programs both within our organizational structure and in partnership with other governmental and non governmental organizations
Our over riding objective is to improve rural livelihoods through Improved Agricultural Production. To achieve this we have designed targeted initiatives within the community and mechanisms within the organization to strengthen the technical and management capabilities of our organization as well as help tackle the practical problems we encounter.
