N2N-MA has been building political power in low-income communities around economic justice issues since 1996. Our organizing model includes leadership development, voter registration and education, public policy advocacy, and electoral campaigns. The Working Family Agenda –good jobs, higher wages, job training, affordable child care, health care and housing, welfare and prgoressive taxation – is the cornerstone of our program. By empowering low-income people to get involved in the political process, developing local leadership, and uniting low-income communities in coalition with unions and community groups, we hold politicians accountable to the needs of working families and are building a progressive majority in Massachusetts.
