DC Vote is a nonprofit (501 (c)(3)) educational and advocacy organization that works to bring American democracy to the nearly 600,000 residents of America's capital - Washington, DC. While DC residents pay federal taxes and serve their country in times of conflict, the people living in Washington, DC, have no voting representation in the U.S. Congress. DC Vote works to raise public awareness of this injustice so that Americans across the country will demand that their U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives will take action to end DC's denial of democracy.
