About Us

Sustainable Silicon Valley’s mission is to create a resilient region under the framework of Net Positive Bay Area to address the highest priorities of the day- Water, Carbon, and Energy. SSV fosters cross-sector collaboration and designs projects that will serve as models in the Bay Area and beyond.

With the historic drought and an uncertain water future, SSV is currently focused on the Intelligent Water Re/Use Program. Pilot projects that are part of this initiative facilitate collaboration among SSV partners, demonstrate technology, promote education, and advance legislation that will enable our partners to become recognized leaders in water resiliency.

SSV partners include leading tech companies (Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and many more), Bay Area cities, innovative solution providers, academic and research institutions, and community organizations. Sustainable Silicon Valley is a nonprofit organization located in Santa Clara founded in 2000.
