The mission of the Women's Center of Los Angeles is to support, empower, and celebrate women and girls. Begun in 2001 and formally incorporated in 2005, the Center is dedicated to the protection and promotion of the rights and well-being of women in Los Angeles and around the world. It accomplishes its mission through providing the space and resources for women to come together to share their challenges and their strengths. WCLA currently has three programs: Women Supporting Women, Girls to Grads, and the Women's Empowerment Series.
