Join the volunteer counseling staff of one of the oldest continually operating crisis centers in the US. Amazing training provided, no previous experience needed. Volunteer counseling training is held every spring and fall.
Our volunteer counselors will tell you that this is an amazing experience - with great learning about communication skills, about life challenges, and about helping people through hard times. Plus doing this with a set of wonderful people also means making some new friends. And this kind of volunteer experience is great professionally and personally.
