Admission to Mooseheart is determined on a need basis; or academic and social criteria qualification basis, and is made pursuant to prescribed clearly identified guidelines. Mooseheart strives to provide opportunities for children in its custodial care; to achieve and excel in education, sports and social skills.
Residents achieving at least a 2.0 GPA are eligible for a college scholarship and/or subsidized vocational education. Mooseheart is committed to excellence in the custodial residential care of children and provides residents with a modern residential home environment and a fully certified staff of child-care managers, Family-Teachers, counselors and a fully accredited school system consisting of a superb teaching staff and a student-teacher ratio conductive with learning excellence.
