Founded in 1992, the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance (KIWA) is a multiracial worker center committed to social and economic justice through organizing, grassroots leadership development, policy advocacy, and services. KIWA builds the power of low-wage immigrant workers for workplace justice, housing rights, immigrants' rights, community-led development, civic participation, and the expansion of community-oriented spaces. We are located in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and our base is predominantly low-income Latino and Korean immigrants.
