YoungVoices/BigSounds

YoungVoices/BigSounds is a music organization dedicated to providing dynamic instruction and opportunity to young people in New York City and beyond. We believe in collaboration, creativity, and the power of music to help young people build confidence and express their voice.

Since our founding in 2010, YVBS has worked with over 3500 young people, ages 4-22, through partnerships with 20+ schools, organizations, foundations, and companies. Our amazingly talented young musicians have participated in beatmaking, songwriting, and instrumental programs, performed in vocal and percussion ensembles, and been exposed to new styles of learning through academic integration projects.
